A new addition...

...to the house that is!  Yesterday evening, Stephen (with a little help from me and Caleb) installed our new storm door on the front!  When we purchased the house in April, we knew that this was an addition that we would want to make, so about a month ago we went to Lowe's and ordered our door.  It came in about two weeks after we ordered it and sat in the garage for another two weeks.  Then yesterday evening, Stephen decided that it was time to get it up.  My boys did a superb job installing the door and it looks great!  Now, I have the ability to open the front door and let in some of that beautiful sunshine, plus it gives me some added security and time when our little man is trying to escape out the front door to go play!  Yep, he's becoming quite the little escape artist!!!

Just getting started!

Helping daddy "hammer"!?!

Nooo, Daddy!  You're marking in the wrong spot, this is where you need to measure!

Here let me help you, daddy!

My Son the Starfish!

Last week and the week before that, Caleb went to swimming lessons (well it's more of an organized swim class than lessons, because the little ones are so young) at the Thomas Park Pool in College Station.  He was in the "Starfish" class, which is for babies and toddlers ages 6-36 months and their parents.  We did this same class last year; Caleb was 8 months old and he LOVED it! This year we signed him up with the same expectations, however, Caleb is more aware of his surroundings this year and was very unsure of everything.  The class was really good for him because it helped him learn to like the water and not be afraid of it (well, for the most part...we hope), and he learned how to kick, scoop, and jump in the pool to mommy and daddy! Below are some pictures of Caleb with me and Stephen at the pool ~ enjoy!

This is a great picture of my baby (not so good of me), he is kicking, and scooping, and had just splashed water in mommy's face...which he thought was hilarious!
