Pictures from the Move

Here are a few snapshots of our move to the new house.  They are mostly of Caleb during the move, but watching him through this whole process has been the best part.  Enjoy!

Caleb playing with his "dracdor".  He would ride around on this thing and just wait for me to finish packing stuff.  Then when  I would turn my back he would start trying to un-box the box I had just finished with.  I think for every box I packed he would have two or three un-boxed before I knew it!

This picture was taken in the early hours of Wednesday (April 9) morning.  I had asked my darling husband to help me with a particular box and instead he decided it was time to take pictures...men!!!

The Move

Well, its official, we've moved and are in the process of settling into the new house.  The past couple of weeks have been long and hard, but we have survived and things are starting to get back to normal again...I think.  We were able to start moving into the new house on April 8th, but we officially closed on both houses April 10th.  We had planned to move the majority of the bigger furniture the Saturday morning after we closed, but we received a call early Thursday morning (April 10) that a very close relative of Stephen's had passed away.  The funeral was set for Saturday afternoon and Stephen was asked to be a pallbearer, so it was decided that the sooner we could get everything into the new house the better.  A few phone calls were made and Thursday evening family members, several of the guys in our Sunday School class, and a few other close friends showed up ready to work, they were all a huge blessing.  Thank you to everyone who helped, even if it was just through prayer...we greatly appreciate you!!!
